Calvary Church Golden: Where Budget and Beauty Fall in Love
This romantic 1867 Historic Chapel is unique to the Front Range. Guest seating for 100 but an intimate space for much smaller weddings. Calvary Church is the oldest Episcopal Church in Colorado that is still used for weekly worship. Listed on the National Register, located in downtown Golden, the Calvary Historic Church was built in 1867 and has never missed a Sunday service.
Expansion of the campus was completed in 2008 with a modern-gothic church building called The Great Hall. Wedding guest capacity of 350, this venue also serves as a beautiful reception space at 200 guest capacity. The Great Hall Lobby connects to a spacious outdoor balcony with breathtaking views, open for your guests to enjoy. Majestic Front Range views and the scenic Table Mountain Mesa surround and enhance this historic site. 2020 The Celebration Plaza was added.
Not necessary to be a member of the church. We do require a Christian ceremony. The couple is encouraged to receive pre-marital classes or counseling. Work with our Pastors as your wedding Officiate. A large caterer’s kitchen is available. Alcohol service is permitted. Work with our music lead organist for weddings or a sound system is available for iPod or laptop connection. Tables, chairs, and decorative inventory included. High top tables are also available. Fully air-conditioned facility. Ring the Church bell after your wedding. Bride’s rooms included for our bride and bridesmaids to get dressed and ready.
